Dear Members of the Indian Association of Cardiothoracic Vascular surgeons (IACTS),
The elections for the posts of Junior Vice President, Two members of the Executive committee and the Venue for IACTSCON (the 76 th Annual conference of the IACTS) 2030 is to be held at the IACTSCON Kolkata on Friday the 19 th February, 2027 at the General Body Meeting.
All full members of the IACTS who are physically present at the General Body Meeting in the Hall could exercise their voting rights secret paper ballot by marking an X on the paper next to the candidate / venue they are voting for. This would then be physically counted. The election process would be overseen by the senior vice president who would be the returning officer. The election would be governed by the constitution and the amendments as can be read from the official website iacts.org.

These were discussed at the Executive committee meeting on the 22 th August 2026, agreed upon unanimously and was presented by the secretary at the midterm general body meeting at the CT CME at Vellore on the 28 th of August 2026 and was ratified by all members present.
Nominations are invited for the posts mentioned above and the IACTSCON venue. The nominations will close on the 31 st of December 2026 at 11-59 pm. Full members of the IACTS are eligible to contest. They must be nominated by two full members of the IACTS.
Nominations for the venue are solicited as well. The proposed organizing secretary would assume responsibility and would present the venue for the elections. He/she would also nominate the organizing chairperson and a treasurer and also propose a theme for the said conference.
All full members who contest, by virtue of contesting declare that they are in good standing and have no legal or criminal proceedings against them.

Dear members
The applications for IACTS Technocollege 2027 (to be held in May), CT CME 2027 (to be held in August) and Thoracic CME 2027 (to be held in November) are also solicited. These may be applied for by email to secretary@iacts.org before 23:59 hours December 15 2025. The applications for the iPREP (to be held in April 2027) are also solicited. Applications for iPREP must reach us before 23:59 hrs on Dec 1 2026.
The Applicant for Organising Secretary for the concerned CME must mail the secretary, IACTS and take all responsibility for the proceedings and the conference.
The application mail must contain the following:

These details are to be written in a word document, printed and signed by all three and scanned in pdf format and attached in the mail.
Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
The decision of the Executive Committee shall be final and binding.
