Residents and surgeons in training in particular are the main focus of the academic endeavours. Helping them prepare for examinations has been one such important activity
The iPREP on line which is a monthly zoom based activity is augmented by on site iPREP to enable a more intense experience with examiners and mentors from across the country. This is usually planned for the latter part of April. Additional iPREPs may be allowed in accordance with the need and as per decision of the executive committee at a national or regional level. The event involves case presentations short lectures in particular reference to exam requirements and discussions on ward rounds, instruments and thesis requirements. The IACTS encourages all to make the best use of the iPREP initiative.
